Welcome to the information blog for the worship team at Kings Church Hastings. Please feel free to leave posts for discussion or ask questions about future events or worship in general. The primary use of this blog is for general updates and to gain access to songlists, chord charts and video or MP3 links to new songs we plan on doing. For our good and Gods glory!
Really looking forward to this coming Sunday, as we have Matt Partridge speaking and we are closing in on all of the building work that has been going on - nearly there, apart from a few finishing pieces!
We recently introduced both 'To God Be the Glory' and also 'Here Is Love' and it will be good to follow these up. You should have the chords for these, but let me know if you need them again.See you all on Saturday,G Bless,Simon

I really want this weekend to be packed full of truth and substance about who we are in Christ and what God has done for us, so that this will put the fire of faith into people's hearts and will give people something they can respond to with their worship.
Please can everyone make a real effort to get up to THC as early as possible on Saturday evening - (from 5.30pm would be great), as it is obviously taking us longer to set up and sound check at the moment, whilst we adapt to the new PA system. This would be a huge help to the PA team and give us time to look at these songs properly. Thank you for your flexibility during these exciting times.
I'm leading on Sunday and would like to introduce this song to the congregation. It's a new take of the wonderful old hymn 'To God Be the Glory' - it was quite big at the TOAM and Mobilise this year, so a good section of the congregation will know it already.
Hopefully....(!!) you can open the PDF file attached here and get at the chord chart. Some of you might already know this version, I'll send out an mp3 as soon as I've downloaded one!!
